Representatives of the Polish Film Institute, as they do every year, will take part in the Marché du Film events. The Polish booth, numbered 122, is located in the International Village Riviera next to the Festival Palace on Boulevard de la Croisette. For another year in a row, the Polish Film Institute, together with the Polish Filmmakers Association, invites producers and representatives of the film industry to visit the Polish booth during the Marché du Film in Cannes. The Polish Cinema Stand, as always, will serve as a meeting place for Polish filmmakers and foreign partners, providing also essential information on cooperation with the Polish Film Institute.

Marché du Film 2024 – bilateral and co-production meetings

As part of the promotion of Polish culture and support for Polish producers seeking interesting business partners from other countries, a series of co-production and bilateral meetings will take place during the Marché du Film.

On Wednesday, May 15th, from 3 to 5 PM at Japanese booth #116, located in the International Village Riviera, a co-production meeting between Polish producers and representatives of the film industry from Japan and Taiwan will be held. Registration for the event is now closed.

On Friday, May 17th, at the pavilion near the Mondrian hotel, located at 45 Boulevard de la Croisette, a co-production meeting with representatives of the film industry from Southeastern Europe will take place from 11 AM to 4 PM. Registration for the event is now closed.

On Saturday, May 18th, from 6 to 8 PM at booth #122, a Networking Event will take place, providing an opportunity for informal discussions with selected industry representatives. Polish Film Institute cordially invites to attend this event.

On Monday, May 20th, we invite you to our booth at 11:00 AM for morning discussions on Polish documentary films. As part of Polish Doks, we will present the most important recent documentary productions from our country.

“Poles in Cannes” catalogue

A list of producers, creators and the most important people from the Polish film industry, as well as representatives of the Polish Film Institute participating in Marché du Film, can be found in a special catalogue prepared for the festival – “Poles in Cannes”. 

Festival de Cannes – presentation of Polish co-production

As part of this year’s Cannes Film Festival and the Marché du Film industry event, projects supported by the Polish Film Institute and those prepared by Polish creators will be presented.

In the Cannes Official Competition, the Swedish-Polish-Danish co-production “The Girl with the Needle” directed by Magnus von Horn will be screened.
