DREAMSOUND

Dreamsound was launched in Warsaw in 2006 and with the 25-strong team offers a complete audio post service including ADR, dialogue editing, foley recording and editing, sound design and re-recording. Dreamsound is run by two Sound Directors, Kacper Habisiak and Marcin Kasiński, both Motion Picture Sound Editors members who between them have won multiple film festival awards and been nominated for many others. Although they work in audio post production, Kacper and Marcin like to start a project by working with the director to understand their overall vision and the nuances of the script from which to build a unique sound narrative. From there it is a case of recording, creating, crafting and finessing layers of sound, before bringing the final mix together in the main theatre. Safety is of primary importance to Dreamsound and they follow strict MPAA and TPN security best practices. The work is done on centralised storage with individual login system in rooms without internet access.
